In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate
024.035 Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth; a likeness of His light is as a niche in which is a lamp, the lamp is in a glass, the glass is as it were a bright shining star, lit from a blessed olive-tree, neither eastern nor western, the oil whereof almost gives light though fire touch it not-- light upon light-- Allah guides to His light whom He pleases, and Allah sets forth parables for men, and Allah is Cognizant of all things.
041.012 Where He ordered them seven skies in two days and inspired in each sky its order and We bedecked and protected the lowest sky with lights, that is the planning of The Almighty and Knowledgeable One.
059.023 He is Allah, besides Whom there is no god; the King, the Holy, the Peace, the Keeper of Faith, the Guardian over all, the Exalted in Might, the Compeller, the Possessor of every greatness, Glory be to Allah from what they s ascribe as partner.
016.102 Say, the Holy Spirit has brought it down from your Lord in Truth, that it may strengthen those who believed, and as Guidance and Glad Tidings to Muslims; (those who have surrendered, or submitted).
002.087 And indeed We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with messengers; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear signs and strengthened him with the Holy Spirit. Is it that whenever there came to you a messenger with what your souls desire not, you grow arrogant, So some you disbelieve and some you kill?
004.171 O People of the Book do not exaggerate in your religion, nor say of Allah but the truth, the Messiah, Jesus son of Mariam was a messenger of Allah, and His word which He conveyed unto Mary, and a spirit from Him, so believe in Allah and His messengers, and say not three. Desist, it is better for you, Allah is only one God, glorified that He should have a son, to Him belong all that in the heavens and in the earth, and Allah is sufficient as Defender.
002.116 And they said: Allah has taken to himself a son. Glory be to Him; rather, to Him belongs all that is in the heavens and the earth, all are subservient to Him.
002.117 The Originator of the heavens and the earth, and when He decrees an affair, He only says to it: “Be”, so it is.
002.118 And those who have no knowledge said: If Allah would speak to us or a sign come to us? So said those before them, the like of what they say; their hearts are all alike. Indeed We have made clear the Signs for a people who are sure.
003.059 The likeness of Isa is with Allah as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, and then said to him: “Be”, so he is.
015.028 And when your Lord said to the angels: "I am going to create a human, from sounding clay from mud fashioned in shape.
015.029 So, when I have made him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, fall down prostrating yourselves unto him.
057.028 O you who believe, be mindful of your duty to Allah, and believe in His Messenger, He will bestow on you a double portion of His Mercy, and provide for you a Light by which you shall walk, and forgive you, and Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
006.122 Is then he who was dead, to whom We gave life, and a light whereby he can walk amongst men, be like him who is in the darknesses, from which he can never come out? Thus what they did was made fair seeming to the unbelievers.
040.015 Raised high above ranks, the Lord of the Throne, he sends the Spirit by His Command upon whom He pleases of His servants, to warn of the Day of Meeting.
026.192 And it is a revelation from the Lord of the worlds.
026.193 Brought down by the Faithful Spirit.
026.194 Upon your heart that you may be of the warners
016.002 He sends down the angels with the Spirit by His commandment on whom He pleases of His servants, that warn that there is no god but Me, therefore keep your duty to Me.
015.008 We send not down the angels save with truth, and then they would not be respited. 015.009 Surely We are who have revealed the Reminder and We will surely guard it.
070.004 The angels and the spirit ascend to Him in a day that was equal to fifty thousand years.
078.038 On the day when the Spirit and the angels shall stand in rank, they speak not, save him whom the Beneficent permits and spoke what is right.
097.004 The angels and the Spirit descend therein, by the permission of their Lord, with all decrees.
019.063 That is the Garden which We give as an inheritance to those of Our servants who were devout.
019.064 And we do not descend but by the command of your Lord; to Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us and whatever is between these, and your Lord was not forgetful.
019.065 Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, so serve Him and be patient in His service. Do you know of any who has an equal name?
037.001 And by the rangers in line.
037.002 Then those who drive away with reproof.
037.003 Then those who recite a reminder.
037.165 And verily we are the ranged in ranks.
037.166 And we are most surely they who declare the praise.
008.012 When your Lord revealed to the angels: I am with you, therefore make firm those who believe. I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off above the necks and strike off every fingertip of them.
008.024 O you who believe, answer Allah and His Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life; and know that Allah intervenes between man and his heart, and that to Him you shall be gathered
036.011 You can only warn him who follows the reminder and fears the Beneficent Allah in secret; so give him good tidings of forgiveness and an honorable reward.
036.012 Verily We are who give life to the dead, and write that which they send before and that which they leave behind, and of all things have We taken account in a clear Book.
036.070 That it may warn him who is alive, and that the word may be fulfilled against the unbelievers.
033.041 O you who believe, Remember Allah with much remembrance.
033.042 And glorify Him early and late.
033.043 He is Who sends blessings on you, as do His angels, that He may bring you out from the Darknesses into Light: and He is Merciful to the Believers.
058.022 You shall not find a people who believe in Allah and the latter day befriending those who act in opposition to Allah and His Messenger, even though they were their fathers, or their sons, or their brothers, or their kinsfolk; these He has written faith in their hearts, and strengthened them with a Spirit from Him And He will admit them to Gardens beneath which Rivers flow, abiding therein; Allah will be well pleased with them, and they with Him, these are Allah's party, surely the party of Allah are the successful ones.
057.019 And those who believed in Allah and His messengers, these are the sincere to truth and the witnesses in the sight of their Lord: they shall have their reward and their light, and those who disbelieved and rejected Our signs, these are the inmates of the hell.
003.107 But those whose faces have been whitened, then will be in Allah's mercy; therein to abide.
056.088 But if he was one of those drawn near.
056.089 Then spirit, and bounty, and a Garden of delight.
From tafsir Al Qurtubi, “then spirit”, reported by Ibn Abbas. Al Hassan said: Spirit is Mercy, because it is like life for the deceased.
And Aisha may Allah be pleased with her said: The Prophet peace be upon him read “Then Spirit” and it means continuation for him and life in heaven, and that is the mercy.
When the spirit is taken away the sight follows it.

Abu Musa reported: The Messenger of Allah (May peace be upon him) was standing amongst us and he told us five things. He said: Verily the Exalted and Mighty Allah does not sleep, and it does not befit Him to sleep. He lowers the scale and lifts it. The deeds in the night are taken up to Him before the deeds of the day, and the deeds of the day before the deeds of the night. His veil is the light. In the hadith narrated by Abu Bakr (instead of the word" light") it is fire. If He withdraws it (the veil), the splendour of His countenance would consume His creation so far as His sight reaches. (Muslim, Book 001, Hadith 0343)
The Witness
In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate
011.017 Is he then who has with him clear proof from his Lord, and a witness from Him recites it, and before it the Book of Musa, a guide and a mercy? These believe in it; and whoever of the parties disbelieves in it, the Fire will be their promised meeting-place. Be not then in doubt thereon: for it is the truth from thy Lord but most men do not believe.
004.041 How then if We brought from each people a witness, and We brought you as a witness against these.
003.081 When Allah took the covenant of the prophets, for what I have given you of Book and Wisdom then comes to you a messenger confirming what is with you, you shall believe in him and shall aid him, He said do you affirm and take my covenant on this as binding on you, they said we do affirm, He said then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.
016.089 And on the day We shall raise in every nation a witness unto them from among themselves and bring you as a witness unto these, and We have sent down to you the Book explaining all things and a guidance and mercy and good tidings for those who have surrendered.
033.045 O Prophet, surely We have sent you as a witness, and as a bearer of glad tidings and a warner.
033.046 And as a summoner unto Allah by His permission, and a light spreading lamp.
002.151 As We have sent among you a Messenger of your own who recites to you Our signs and purifies you and teaches you the Book and the wisdom and teaches you that which you did not know.
002.152 Therefore remember Me, I will remember you, and be thankful to Me, a and reject not Faith.
006.019 Say: What thing is of most weight in testimony? Say: Allah is Witness between me and you. And this Qur'an has been inspired in me, that I may warn you therewith and whomsoever it may reach. Do you really bear witness that there are other gods with Allah? Say: I do not bear witness. Say: He is only one God, and I truly am innocent of what you associate.
007.172 And when your Lord drew forth from the children of Adam - from their backs - their descendants, and made them bear witness against their own souls Am I not your Lord, they said yes we bear witness, lest you should say on the day of resurrection of this we were unaware.
022.005 O people, if you were in doubt about the resurrection, then We have created you from dust, then out of sperm, then out of a leech-like clot, then out of a morsel of flesh, formed and unformed, that We may make clear to you, and We cause what We please to rest in the wombs till an appointed time, then We bring you forth an infant, then that you may attain your full strength, and of you is he who is brought back to the worst part of life, so that after having knowledge he does not know anything; and you see the earth lifeless, but when We send down on it the water, it stirs and swells and it puts forth every pair of beautiful growth.
022.006 That is because Allah, He is the Truth and He gives life to the dead and that He has power over all things
010.061 And you are not in an affair, nor do you recite concerning it any portion of the Quran, nor do you do any work but We were witnesses over you when you are deeply engrossed therein, and there does not lie concealed from your Lord the weight of an atom in the earth or in the heaven, nor anything less than that nor greater, but it is in a clear book.
085.009 Him to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth! And Allah is Witness to all things.
041.020 Until when they come to it, their hearing and their sights and their skins shall bear witness against them as to what they used to do.
041.021 And they shall say to their skins, Why have you borne witness against us? They shall say Allah has given us speech, He Who gives speech to everything, and He created you the first time, and unto Him you shall be returned.
058.006 On the day when Allah will raise them all together, then inform them of what they did, Allah has kept account of it and they forgot it. And Allah is Witness over all things.
058.007 Did you not see that Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth? Nowhere is there a secret counsel between three but He is the fourth of them, nor five but He is the sixth of them, nor less than that nor more but He is with them wherever they are; then He will inform them of what they did on the day of resurrection, for Allah has full knowledge of all things.
041.053 We shall show them Our signs in the horizons and in their own souls, until it will become clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not sufficient as regards your Lord that He is a witness over all things?
099.004 That day she will relate her news.
099.005 For your Lord had inspired her.
050.021 And every soul came, with it a driver and a witness.
050.037 Verily in that is a reminder for him who had a heart, or gave an ear and while he was a witness.
Inspiration (Hearing, sights and hearts)
In the name of Allah the Merciful the Compassionate
032.009 Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit, and made for you the hearing and the sights and the hearts, you rarely give thanks.
017.036 And follow not that of which you have no knowledge; surely the hearing and the sight and the heart, all of these, shall be questioned about that.
042.001 Ha-Mim (H M)
042.002 Ain-Sin-Qaf. (A S Q)
042.003 Thus does He reveal to you, and to those before you, Allah the Mighty, the Wise.
042.051 It was not for a human that Allah should speak to him except by inspiration, or from behind a veil, or He sends a messenger, to reveal with His permission what He wills, He is The High, The Wise.
042.052 And thus did We reveal to you a Spirit of Our command. You did not know what the Book was, nor the faith, but We made it a light, whereby We guide whom We will of Our bondmen and verily you guide to a right path.
042.053 The path of Allah, unto Whom belongs whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth, surely to Allah do all affairs eventually come.
017.085 And they ask you about the spirit. Say: The spirit is by command of my Lord, and of knowledge you have been given but a little.
017.086 And have We pleased, We should certainly take away that which We have revealed to you, then you would not find for it a guardian against Us.
017.087 Except for Mercy from your Lord, surely His grace to you was abundant.
017.088 Say: If humans and jinn should combine together to bring the like of this Quran, they will not bring the like of it, even if some of them were aiders of others.
075.016 Do not move your tongue with it to hasten with it,
075.017 It is for Us to collect it and to recite it.
075.018 Therefore when We have recited it, follow its recitation.
075.019 Then, upon is the explaining of it.
020.114 Then exalted be Allah, the True King, and hasten not with the Qur'an before its revelation to you is completed, and say: my Lord increase me in knowledge.
018.109 Say: If the sea were ink for the words of my Lord, the sea would be consumed before the words of my Lord are exhausted, even if We were to bring another like it, for its aid.
018.110 Say: I am only a human like you; revelation is send to me that your god is one God, therefore whoever hopes to meet his Lord, he should do good deeds, and not join none in the service of his Lord.
038.070 It is but revealed unto that I am a plain warner.
021.045 Say: I but warn you by revelation; and the deaf do not hear the call whenever they are warned.
034.050 Say: If I stray, I only stray against my own soul, but if I receive guidance, it is because of what my Lord inspires to me, He is Hearing, Near.
006.036 Only those who listen will accept. As for the dead, Allah will raise them, then to Him they shall be returned.
006.046 Say: Have you considered if Allah takes away your hearing and your sight and sets a seal on your hearts, who is god besides Allah that can bring it to you? See how We explain the signs, yet they turn away.
028.071 Say: Have you considered, if Allah were to make the night everlasting for you till the Day of Resurrection, who is a god beside Allah who could bring you light? Will you not then hear?
028.072 Say: Have you considered, if Allah were to make the day everlasting for you till the Day of Resurrection, who is a god beside Allah who could bring you light? Will you not then see?
006.103 Visions comprehend Him not, and He comprehends visions; and He is the Knower of subtleties, the Well Aware.
006.104 Indeed there have come to you clear proofs from your Lord; whoever will therefore see, it is for his own soul and whoever will be blind, it shall be against himself and I am not a keeper over you.
006.105 And thus do We explain the signs, and that they may say: You have studied; and that We may make it clear to a people who know.
013.002 Allah is He Who raised the heavens without pillars that you see, then mounted the Throne, and subjected the sun and the moon each running for a term appointed, managing the affair making clear the signs, that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.
040.081 And shows you His signs, which then of Allah's signs do you deny?
