I WAS A STONE
In the beginning there was a dense, hot, black, cloud and chaos was there, screams, terror, agony and loneliness. It seems that all there were “energies” aware that they existed, but had different feelings, some scared, some sleeping, barely aware and some terrorizing and feeding on others. Then it was all quiet, only the humid darkness remained. Something has happened, now awareness is taking a different form, the energies have some form and they can feel nature around them, primitive in form but darkness is still there. I believe by then I was a stone, and the question “Who am I?” was an unsettling realization.
While this was happening in earth, the terrorizing evil existence that was within the cloud was removed to heaven. Given good form, more awareness, and ranks! But instead of being grateful, when the rest of the grains appeared in heaven and as God’s creation of mud or Adam followed, they were enraged! “Jinn We created before from fire. 15:27”… “They all fell prostrate except Iblis he was from the jinn so he failed to obey his Lord’s order. 18:50”…”Say it is big news you are turning away from -- I had no news of the upper population as they argued ……………., he said I am better than him You created me from fire and created him from mud. 38: 67-76”.
God, it seems, had moved them first to heaven to give them a chance, so they may remember, and have sympathy for the rest of the cloud. “I did not make them witness the creation of the heavens and earth, nor the creation of themselves, nor was I going to take the misleaders to back Me up. 18:51”… “Didn’t the unbelievers see that the skies and the earth were a mend so We ripped them apart and from water We created every living thing. 21:30”.
God gave life, more awareness and form to everything, to every grain, each according to its awareness, not amount but type. “We indeed created everything in measure. 54:49”… “He said our Lord is Who gave everything its creation then guided. 20:50”… “Multiplies you therein nothing is like Him and He is the All Hearing All Seeing. 42:11”.
A bird is happier and more majestic he believes than a human, and he is. God gave him his best life form. “There is no earth walking creature or a flying bird that are not but nations like you we have wasted nothing in the book then to their Lord they shall be gathered .6:38”.
God knows all at once, greed, envy and all evil were removed first from the cloud and given a good life, but when Adam appeared in heaven it forgot all and took back its old form: greed, envy and evil energy feeding on itself, and it entered Adam’s life by deceit. Adam was deceived not because he is evil or he wanted more, but because he did not trust God enough!
To this life, all there is, is to know that God gives life, and to believe that God sustains life, “Isn’t Allah capable of sustaining His bondsman. 39:36”, and to be sure that God is waiting on the other side with open arms to those who truly believed and trusted in Him alone. Those who trusted enough to know that death is a barrier that needs to be smashed through, because it is rebirth or real birth, or may I say it is real life that which awaits on the other side.
God bless the messengers and believers, “those who believe in the Unseen, and establish worship, and spend of that We have bestowed upon them. 2:3”. Those are the ones who learned the biggest lesson of all. That in true slavery to God alone is all freedom and that real happiness is in sharing in giving.
“Had your Lord wished, He would have made all people one nation and they would have still differed. 11:118”. “Save those on whom your Lord had mercy, and that is why He created them ………… 11:119”.
“Had Allah wished He would have made all people one nation but He admits whom He wishes into His mercy and the transgressors shall have no guardian or supporter. 42:8”.
There will be one more day when the cloud’s ingredients will be separated, once and for good. Giving will rejoice in sharing in heaven and evil will feed on evil forever in hell.
There will be no more grays, only white and black.
“Abiding therein forever so long as the heavens and the earth endure, except as your Lord wills, your Lord is the mighty doer of what He intends. 11:107”

SAND GRAINS

Then The Prophet peace be upon him said: The Angels brought near, did not encompass the creation of the Throne, and have no knowledge regarding it, neither do its bearers who bear it, and that Allah – The Supreme – when He created the heavens and the earth, the angels said: Our Lord: have you created a creation more majestic that the Heavens and the earth? He said: yes, the seas, they said: Have you created a creation greater than the seas? He said: yes, the Throne. They said: Have you created a creation greater than the Throne? He said yes the Mind. They said: Our lord to what extent did the Mind and its creation reach? He said: Immense, its knowledge not encompassed, He said: have you knowledge regarding the number of sand grains? They said: No, He said: Thus I have created the Mind numerous types as the number of sand grains, then of people is he who is given of that one grain, and some the two, three and four, and of them is who was given an allotment, and of them who was given a load, and of them who was given two loads, and some were given more than that, likewise till what Allah pleased of multiples. Then Ibn Salam said: So who are those O Allah’s prophet? Peace be upon him said: The workers in Allah’s obedience – The Supreme – as the degree of their deeds, endeavors and certainty, thus the light that Allah The Supreme, has made in their minds and discernment in that all, up to the degree He has bestowed on them. Within that degree does the worker of them accomplish, and rises in degrees………..
