Unification in Hyperspace

The theory of hyperspace states that dimensions exist beyond the commonly perceived of three dimensions of space and one of time. A theory that is exceedingly difficult to prove in the laboratory, yet its significance lies in its power to unify all known physical phenomena.

Light can be explained as vibrations in the fifth dimension.

Matter can be viewed as vibrations rippling through the fabric of space time.

The term “higher dimensions” goes back to Rene Descartes, but the development of higher-dimensional geometry only began in the 19th century, among few mathematicians. The German mathematician Bernhard Riemann's made important contributions in differential geometry that led to the later developments of General relativity and marked the beginning of higher-dimensional geometry. Classical physics theories describe three physical dimensions: from a particular point in space, the basic directions are up/down, left/right, and forward/backward. Time is often referred to as the "fourth dimension". In time one can move only in one direction and it is the one way to measure physical change. Theories such as string theory and M-theory predict that physical space has 10 and 11 dimensions. We perceive only three spatial dimensions, and no physical experiments have confirmed the reality of additional dimensions. Theorists suggested that space acts as if it were "curled up" in the extra dimensions on a subatomic scale.

In the 17th century Sir Isaac Newton laid the foundations for the future research in the mechanical laws of the universe. In his “Philosophiae Naturalis Principa Mathematica” published in 1687, he described universal gravitation and the three laws of motion, laying the groundwork for classical mechanics. He showed that the motions of objects on Earth and of celestial bodies are governed by the same natural laws. In the 19th century Michael Faraday discovered that there was an underlying relationship between Light and Magnetism, and James Clerk Maxwell with his set of equations demonstrated that electricity, magnetism and light are all manifestations of the same phenomenon. Maxwell demonstrated that electric and magnetic fields travel in space in the form of waves at the constant speed of light. In 1864 he wrote “A Dynamical Theory of the Electromagnetic Field” where he proposed that light was in fact undulations in the same medium that is the cause of electric and magnetic phenomena.

Albert Einstein’s many contributions to physics include his special theory of relativity, which reconciled mechanics with electromagnetism, his general theory of relativity, which was intended to extend the principle of relativity to non-uniform motion and to provide a new theory of gravitation, the conception of a unified field theory, and the geometrization of physics. He introduced the photon concept and inspired the notion of wave-particle duality in quantum mechanics. Einstein’s work radically altered humankind's understanding of space and time. The mass-energy equivalence expressed by the equation E=mc 2, tied up mass with strings. And Sir Oliver Lodge pioneered a research on the “Ether” long postulated as the wave-bearing medium filling all space, and connected the visible world with beyond.

In 1907 Einstein had tried to understand the grand pervasive force of gravity and found that the medium that transmits gravity is space itself, he speculated that the presence of matter causes the fabric of space to warp, and that communicates the force of gravity. Einstein was able to explain gravity in terms of warps and curves in space time. It was not until 1919 that Einstein’s theory was tested and proven during a solar eclipse by the physicist Sir Arthur Eddington.

In 1919 Theodore Kalutza a German mathematician and physicist suggested that our universe has more than three dimensions, his theory involved field equations in five-dimensional space, he took Einstein’s equations of three dimensions of space and found the fourth equation which was the equation known to describe the electromagnetic force.  His idea that the four fundamental forces of nature can be unified by introducing additional dimensions re-emerged with the development of string theory.

Vibrating Dimensions

String theory had provided hope in reaching the unified theory but by the mid-1970s measurements of the strong force had deviated from the predictions of string theory and many physicists concluded that it had no relevance to the physical universe. It was a theory suffering from its own theoretical problems, as some of its equations were inconsistent; furthermore, the mathematics of the theory demanded the universe have more than the three spatial dimensions of common experience, nine or ten space-time dimensions. Because of the many obstacles, many physicists felt it was unlikely that string theory would provide solutions to the more difficult problems and by the mid-1980s only few theorists were still holding on to it.

In 1984 through a remarkable calculation, two theorists proved that the equations of string theory were consistent after all. Hundreds of researchers turned their full attention to string theory. Within a few months, string theory’s unified framework took shape. Much as different vibrational patterns of a violin string play different musical notes, the different vibrations of the tiny strands in string theory were imagined to yield different particles of nature. According to the theory, particles have length (about 10−33 cm) and the mass and charge of a particle is determined by how a string vibrates. Among the vibrational patterns, there would also be the particles that communicate nature’s forces. String theory emerged again as the sought-for unification of all forces and all matter. Between the mid eighties and mid nineties, many physicists tried to develop a mathematical predictive theory of nature. But the size of strings precluded direct detection, because strings are so small, they would vibrate in every dimension, not just in the usual three dimensions. Theorists imagined the extra dimensions to be small and hidden that they have so far evaded detection.

One of the deepest questions in theoretical physics, deals with the 20 numbers that describe the universe, those numbers are so precise that if they had any values other than they did, the universe would not exist. String theory suggests that those twenty numbers have to do with the extra dimensions. As much as the shape of a French horn affects the vibrational patterns of airstreams coursing through the instrument, the exact shape and size of the extra dimensions would affect how strings vibrate. And since the strings’ vibrations determine quantities such as particle masses and charges, predictivity requires knowledge of the geometrical form of the extra dimensions. If we knew what the dimensions look like we should be able to calculate the allowed notes, then we should be able to calculate those 20 numbers, if the answer we get from the calculation agrees with value of these numbers, this would be the first experimental explanation for why the structure of the universe is the way that it is. Unfortunately, the equations of string theory allow the extra dimensions to take many different geometric forms, making it difficult to extract definitive testable predictions.

Religious Truth

The Quran and hadith and other religious and philosophical sources paint a view of the unseen reality of the world that we live in:

The seven heavens, linking the macro and micro worlds; 7 Heavens, 7 earths, 7 hells, electromagnetic spectrum, light waves, rainbow, chakras, and auras.

Details on next page: “What Is Between Them”.

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

010.003   Your Lord is Allah, who created the heavens and the earth in six days, then established Himself on the Throne managing the affair, there is no intercessor except after His permission. That is Allah your Lord so worship Him, will you not then remember.

013.002   Allah is He Who raised the heavens without pillars that you see, then mounted the Throne, and subjected the sun and the moon each running for a term appointed, managing the affair making clear the signs, that you may be certain of meeting your Lord.

032.004   Allah Who created the skies and the earth and what in between them in six days, then He descended on the Throne, you have no Guardian or Intercessor other than Him, will you not remember.

032.005    He manages the order from the sky to the earth, then it ascends to Him in a day that is equal to one thousand years of your reckoning.

032.006 That is the Knowledgeable of the unseen and the seen, the Almighty the Compassionate.

032.007   Who has made everything He created most good, and began the creation of the human from clay.

032.008   Then made his progeny of an extract of despised water.

032.009    Then He fashioned him and breathed into him of His Spirit, and made for you the hearing and the sights and the hearts, you rarely give thanks.

065.012   Allah Who created seven heavens, and of the earth like them, He descends the commandment between them, that you may know that Allah is capable over all things, and that Allah has encompassed all things in knowledge.

055.029   All those in the heavens and the earth ask of Him, every day He is in an affair.

010.031   Say who sustains you from the sky and the earth, or who has ownership over the hearing and the sights, and who brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living and who manages the affair, they will say Allah, then say will you not show piety.

023.071    And had the truth followed their desires, the heavens and the earth would have corrupted and all those therein. No, We have brought them their Reminder, but from their Reminder they turn away.

036.036   Glory be to Him Who created all pairs, of what the earth grows, and of them selves and of what they do not know.

036.040   It is not for the sun to overtake the moon, nor does the night outstrip the day, and they all (Or each) float in an orbit.

Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him said:

Allah created on the same day when He created the skies and the earth, one hundred mercies, every part of mercy is coextensive with the space between the sky and the earth, and He  endowed one part to the earth, and it is because of this part that the mother shows affection to her child, and that the beasts and birds show kindness to one another, and when there would be the day of resurrection, Allah would make full (use) with this mercy”.(Muslim: 2753)

“There are one hundred grades in paradise which Allah has prepared for those who work hard for his cause, between every two grades is like what is between the sky and the earth, so if you ask Allah, ask Him for Al Firdaus, for it is the middle of paradise and the highest in paradise …….”.(Bukhari: 2790)

From the narration about the night ascension to heaven: “In the nearest sky, the Prophet met Adam … and Jesus and Yahya in the second sky … and Joseph in the third sky … and Idris in the fourth sky … and Aaron in the fifth sky … and Moses in the sixth sky … and Abraham in the seventh sky”. (Bukhari: 3207) {And your Lord knows better who are in the skies and the earth. We have preferred some prophets over others and We gave David a Book of Psalms.17:55}.

And here is what Jesus Christ peace be upon him, said about the kingdom of God:

“The kingdom of God does not come with your careful observation, nor will people say, ‘Here it is,’ or ‘There it is,’ because the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20-22

Jesus said, “If your leaders say to you, ‘Look, the (Father’s) kingdom is in the sky,’ then the birds of the sky will precede you. If they say to you, ‘It is in the sea,’ then the fish will precede you. Rather, the (Father’s) kingdom is within you and it is outside you. Thomas 3

“It will not come by watching for it. It will not be said, ‘Look, here!’ or ‘Look, there!’ Rather, the Father’s kingdom is spread out upon the earth, and people don’t see it.” Thomas 113

"Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God;  but to the rest in parables; that seeing they may not see, and hearing they may not understand.” Lu 8: 10
