Death
In the name of Allah the Gracious the Most Merciful
055.026 All that is on it shall perish.
055.027 And there will remain the Face of your Lord, of Glory and Honor.
028.088 And call not with Allah another god; there is no god but He, everything shall perish but His Face, the judgment is His, and to Him you shall be brought back.
021.035 Every soul shall taste death and We test you by evil and good by way of trial and to Us you shall be brought back.
Death is Created
067.001 Blessed is He in Whose hand is the kingdom, and He has power over all things.
067.002 Who created Death and Life, that He may try which of you is best in deed: and He is the Exalted in Might, Oft-Forgiving.
002.029 He is Who created for you all that is in the earth, then turned to the heaven, so He made them seven heavens, and He knows all things.
Preordained - in a Book
“O people if you are in doubt about the resurrection, then We have created you from dust, then from a sperm drop, then from a clot, then from a chewed flesh, formed and unformed, that We may make clear to you, and We settle what We wish in the wombs for an appointed term, then We bring you out an infant, then that you may reach your age of full strength, and among you there is he who dies and among you there is he who is brought back to the lowest stage of life, wherein he knows nothing after having knowledge. And you see the earth barren, but when We send down water on it, it is stirred and risen to life and yields all delightful pairs.” 22:5
“That is because Allah: He is the truth, and that He revives the dead and that He has power over all things” 22:6
022.007And that the hour is coming, no doubt about it, and that Allah revives those who are in the graves” 22:7
“And We have recommended the human kindness to his parents, his mother bore him in hardship, and gave birth to him in hardship, and his bearing and weaning are thirty months, till when he reached his peak of power and reached forty years, he said, my Lord grant me that I may be grateful for Your favor which You have bestowed upon me and upon my parents, and that I may do righteousness to Your approval, and make my descendants righteous, I have turned to You in repentance and I am of the Muslims.” 46:15
“Those are whom We shall accept the best of their deeds and We shall overlook their misdeeds, among the dwellers of paradise, a promise of truth which they have been promised.” 46:16
035.011 And Allah created you of dust, then from a sperm-drop; then He made you in pairs. And no female conceives, nor does she bring forth but with His knowledge and no one whose life is lengthened has his life lengthened, nor is diminished of his life, but all in a book; surely that is easy to Allah.
035.037 And they shall cry therein: O our Lord, take us out, we will do good deeds other than those which we used to do. Did We not give you long enough life, so that he who would remember should have remembered, and there came to you the warner, therefore taste; for the unjust, there is no helper.
035.038 Verily Allah is the Knower of the unseen of the heavens and the earth; surely He is Cognizant of that is in the breasts.
040.067 He is Who created you from dust, then from a sperm-drop, then from a leech-like clot, then He brings you forth as a child, then that you may attain your maturity, then that you may be old, and of you there are some who are caused to die before, and that you may reach an appointed term, and that you may understand.
Twice – We Died & Lived
040.011 They shall say: Our Lord, twice did You cause us to die, and twice You have given us life, so we confessed our faults; is there then a way to get out?
040.012 That is because when Allah alone was called upon, you disbelieved, and when associates were given to Him, you believed; so judgment belongs to Allah, the High, the Great.
022.066 And He is Who has brought you to life, then He will cause you to die, then bring you to life, most surely the human being is ungrateful.
002.028 How do you deny Allah and you were dead and He gave you life? Then He will cause you to die and then bring you to life, then you shall be brought back to Him.
030.055 On the Day that the Hour shall be established, the transgressors will swear that they tarried not but an hour: thus were they used to being deluded!
030.056 And those who were given knowledge and faith shall say; you tarried within Allah's Book until the Day of Resurrection, and this is the Day of Resurrection but you did not know.
044.051 As to the Righteous they are in a position of Security, 044.052 In gardens and springs;
044.056 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He saved them from the torment of the hell.
006.036 Only those who listen will head, as for the dead, Allah will raise them then to Him they shall be returned.
No Reincarnation, just graduation.
Quick Account
006.059 And with Him are the keys of the unseen, none knows them but He; and He knows what is in the land and the sea, and there falls not a leaf but He knows it, nor a grain in the darkness of the earth, nor anything damp nor dry but in a clear book.
006.060 And He is Who takes your souls at night and knows what you acquired in the day, then He raises you therein that an appointed term may be fulfilled; then to Him is your return, then He will inform you of what you were doing.
006.061 And He is the subduer above His servants, and He sends keepers over you; until when death comes to one of you, Our messengers cause him to die, and they are not remiss.
006.062 Then are they sent back to Allah, their True Master, surely His is the judgment and He is swiftest of reckoners.
056.088 Then if he is one of those drawn near.
056.089 Then spirit and bounty and a garden of delight.
056.090 And if he was of the companions of the right. 056.091 Then peace to you from the people of the right.
056.092 But if he is of the rejecters, the erring. 056.093 Then a welcome of boiling water.
014.047 Never think that Allah will fail his promise to His messengers surely Allah is Mighty, the Lord of Retribution.
014.048 On the day when the earth shall be changed into a different earth, and the heavens, and they shall come forth before Allah, the One, the Supreme.
014.051 That Allah may repay each soul what it has earned; surely Allah is swift in reckoning.
024.039 As for those who disbelieved, their deeds are as a mirage in a desert. The thirsty one deems to be water; until when he comes to it he finds it to be nothingt, and there he finds Allah, so He pays back to him his reckoning in full; and Allah is quick in reckoning;
040.015 Possessor of the highest ranks, Lord of the Throne, He casts the spirit by His command upon whom He pleases of His servants that he may warn of the day of meeting.
040.016 The day when they shall come forth, nothing of them remains hidden from Allah. To whom belongs the kingdom today? To Allah, the One, the Subduer.
040.017 Today every soul shall be rewarded for what it has earned; no injustice this day; surely Allah is quick in reckoning.
Soul or Spirit
021.035 Every soul shall taste death, and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial, and to Us you shall be brought back.
029.057 Every soul shall taste death, and then to Us you shall be brought back.
003.185 Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained triumph and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of illusion.
039.042 Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
006.093 And who is more unjust than he who forges lies against Allah, or says: It has been revealed to me; while nothing has been revealed to him, and he who says: I shall reveal the like of what Allah has revealed, and if you had seen when the unjust shall be in the agonies of death and the angels spreading forth their hands: Give up your souls; today shall you be recompensed with an ignominious chastisement because of what you used to speak concerning Allah other than the truth and you showed pride against His communications.
056.083 When it reaches the throat.
Death & Sleep
021.034 We granted not to a human before the immortality, then if you die, will they abide?
021.035 Every soul shall have a taste of death: and We test you by evil and by good by way of trial, and to Us you shall be brought back.
003.185 Every soul shall taste of death, and you shall only be paid fully your reward on the resurrection day; then whoever is removed away from the fire and is made to enter the garden he indeed has attained triumph and the life of this world is nothing but a provision of illusion.
006.060 And He is Who takes your souls at night and knows what you acquired in the day, then He raises you therein that an appointed term may be fulfilled; then to Him is your return, then He will inform you of what you were doing.
039.042 Allah takes the souls at the time of their death, and those that die not during their sleep; then He withholds those on whom He has passed the decree of death and sends the others back till an appointed term; most surely there are signs in this for a people who reflect.
018.011 Wherefore We beat (or veiled) on their ears in the cave for a number of years.
056.083 When it reaches the throat.
056.084 And you are then looking.
056.085 And We are nearer to him than you but you do not see.
“………. Praise is for Allah, I praise Him and ask his assistance, I believe in Him and depend on Him, and I testify that there is no God but Allah alone no partner to him, then he said: the precursor does not lie to his family. By Allah whom there is no God but Him, I am Allah’s messenger to you specifically and to people in general. By Allah you shall die as you sleep, and shall be resurrected as you wake up, and you shall be accounted for what you do, and it is heaven forever or fire forever……. .” Al Albani, Fiqh Al Seera, No. 97.
“………. Then I entered with Gabriel Jerusalem, we each prayed two rakaas. Then I was brought Al Mèraj that Adam’s children’s souls ascend upon’ creatures have not seen better than the Mèraj, have not you seen when the dying person’s vision rushes aiming towards the sky, wondering at the Mèraj ……….. ” From a long narration by Abu Saeed AlKhidri, Ibn Kathir, Tafsir Al Quran, no: 5/20

Dreams
Before dawn in God’s custody realm, after dawn on your own.
Narrated Samura bin Jundab: The Prophet said in his narration of a dream that he saw, "He whose head was being crushed with a stone was one who learnt the quran but never acted on it, and slept ignoring the compulsory prayers." (Book #21, Hadith #244)
Possessions during sleep
Shamanic portals to other realms
The shamans like predators look for sleeping prey to go through their assemblage point into the sea of awareness or the other realms. They knew that within the ethereal body there are 600 points that lead to 600 realms of which can be reached through an assemblage point, which shifts naturally during sleep.
The Prophet’s recipe for sound sleep:
Narrated 'Aisha: Whenever Allah's Apostle went to bed, he used to recite Surat-al-Ikhlas, Surat-al-Falaq and Surat-an-Nas and then blow on his palms and pass them over his face and those parts of his body that his hands could reach. And when he fell ill, he used to order me to do like that for him. (Book #71, Hadith #644)
Out of Body
Out of body experiences, channeling mediums to the death world, carrying messages from the infrared realms, shall have no share in the hereafyer.
002.102 And they followed what the devils read of sorcery in the reign of Sulaiman, and Sulaiman was not an unbeliever, but the devils disbelieved, they teach people sorcery and that was sent down to the two angels at Babel, Harut and Marut, yet the two teach no one until they had said, "Surely we are only a trial, therefore do not be a disbeliever" then they learn from them both that which they cause a separation between a man and his wife; and they cannot hurt with it anyone except with Allah's permission, and they learn what harms them and does not profit them, and certainly they knew that he who bought it should have no share in the hereafter and evil was the price for which they sold their souls, had they but known this.
003.077 As for those who buy for a small price at the cost of Allah’s covenant and their own oaths, surely they shall have no share in the hereafter, and Allah will not speak to them, nor will He look upon them on the day of judgment nor will He purify them, and they shall have a painful chastisement.
Resuscitation
Killing the cells with electric shocks and oxygen! Better survival rates without ER procedures!
How long does it take for the cells to die or dry?
“The Prophet once passed by two graves and said, "These two persons are being tortured not for a major sin. One of them never saved himself from being soiled with his urine, while the other used to go about with calumnies (to make enmity between friends)." The Prophet then took a green leaf of a date-palm tree, split it into two pieces and fixed one on each grave. They said, "O Allah's Apostle! Why have you done so?" He replied: May their punishment be abated till they get dry”. Sahih Al Bukhari no. 1361
Water Supply
021.030 Have not those who disbelieved seen that the heavens and the earth were a mend so we ripped them apart and we made of water every living thing? Will they not then believe?
016.065 And Allah has sent down water from the sky and therewith revived the earth after its death; most surely there is a sign in this for a people who hear.
067.028 Say: Have you considered if Allah should destroy me and those with me or if He would have mercy on us, yet who will protect the unbelievers from a painful punishment?
067.030 Say: Have you considered if your water should go down, who then that will bring you a water supply?
“One of the companions of the prophet peace be upon him, set his tent on a grave, whilst not knowing it is a grave, then he heard a person in it reciting surat Al Mulk till he finished it, he came to the prophet peace be upon him, and told him. Then the prophet peace be upon him said: it is the deterrent, it is the protector, the deliverer from the torment of the grave." Narrated by Ibn Abbas, Al Albani, Mishkat Al Masabeeh, no. 2095
The Forty days
-“The creation of one of you, is collected (or gathered) in the womb of his mother within 40 days, then he becomes a clot (of blood) for a similar period, and then he becomes a chew (a piece of flesh) for a similar period. Then Allah sends an angel, who is then ordered four words, and is told: write his deeds, and his abundance, and his prescribed term, and a wretched or a blessed one, then the spirit is breathed into him. So one of you may do deeds until there is nothing but a cubit between him and paradise, then his book decides his fate, and he does deeds characteristic of hell people, and does deeds until there is but a cubit between him and hell, then the book decides his fate, and he does deeds characteristic of the people of paradise”. Al Bukhari, no. 3028
-“Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet said, "Between the two blowings of the trumpet there will be forty." The people said, "O Abu Huraira! forty days?" I refused to reply. They said, "forty years?" I refused to reply and added: Then Allah woukd send down water from the sky, where they will grow like plants. Everything of the human body will decay except the coccyx bone (of the tail) and from that bone Allah will reconstruct the whole body on the day of judgment”. AlBukhari, no. 4935
-“Narrated Al--Amash: Abu Huraira said, "Allah's Apostle said, 'Between the two sounds of the trumpet, there will be forty." Somebody asked Abu Huraira, "forty days?" But he refused to reply. Then he asked, "forty months?" He refused to reply. Then he asked, "forty years?" Again, he refused to reply. Abu Huraira added. "Then (after this period) Allah will send water from the sky and then the dead bodies will grow like vegetation grows, There is nothing of the human body that does not decay except one bone; that is the little bone at the end of the coccyx of which the human body will be recreated on the day of Resurrection”. (See Hadith No. 338) (Book #60, Hadith #457)
-“Safiyya reported from some of the wives of Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) Allah's Apostle (may peace be upon him) having said: He who visits a divner ('Arraf) and asks him about anything, his prayers extending to forty nights will not be accepted”. (Book #026, Hadith #5540)
007.142 We appointed for Moses thirty nights, and completed them with ten, thus was completed the term (of communion) with his Lord, forty nights …….
Grave - First Station
102.002 Until you visited the graves.
-“Othman Bin Affan, when standing by a grave, used to cry until he soaks his beard, he was told: you mention heaven and hell and you do not cry, and you cry from this? He said Allah’s Prophet peace be upon him said that the grave is the first house in the hereafter, if one survives it, what follows is easier, but if he does not, what comes after is harder than it. And the Prophet peace be upon him said, I never saw a sight, but the grave is more horrible.” Al Albani, Sahih Ibn Maja, No. 3461
-“While we were sitting at Umar’s, he said (Umar bin Al-Khattab), "Who amongst you remembers the statement of Allah's Apostle regarding the afflictions? He said: A man's afflictions concerning his relation to his family, his property and his neighbors are expiated by his prayers, giving in charity and enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil.' " 'Umar said, "I don't mean these afflictions, but about those afflictions which move like the waves of the sea. Hudhaifa said: Don’t worry about it, O chief of believers, for there is a closed door between you and that. Umar said: will it be broken or opened? He said: No, it will be broken. Umar said: Then it will never be closed. I said: yes. We asked Hudhaifa: Did Umar know who the door is? He said: Yes, as he knew that there will be a night before tomorrow morning, that is because I narrated to him a true narration free from errors. We dared not ask him who is the door? So we ordered Masruq to ask him. He said Umar”. Sahih Al Bukhari, No. 7096
- “Narrated 'Amra bint 'AbdurRahman: A jewess came to ask Aisha (the wife of the Prophet) about something. She said to her, "May Allah give you refuge from the punishment of the grave." So Aisha asked Allah's Apostle "Are people punished in their graves?" Allah's Apostle after seeking refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave (and thus replied in the affirmative). Then one day, Allah's Apostle rode to go to some place but the sun eclipsed, so we went out to the room, women came together, and the prophet came towards us, that was in the forenoon. He stood up for a long period and then performed a prolonged bowing, then he raised his head and he stood up for shorter than that of the first Rakaa, then he performed a bowing which was shorter than the first one. Then he prostrated, then he stood up for a second time and did the like of that, except that his standing and bowing were less than the first bowing, then he prostrated, and the sun was up. When he finished he went up to the pulpit, then he said that people are tested in their graves like the test of the Dajjal (the fake Christ). Aisha said: after that we used to hear him seek refuge with Allah from the punishment of the grave.” Narrated by Aisha, Al Albani, Sahih Al Nasaii no. 1474.
Al Brazakh - Barrier
023.097 And say: my Lord, I seek refuge in You from the prodding of the devils.
023.098 And I seek refuge in You my Lord from their coming forward.
023.099 Until when death comes to one of them, he says: Send me back my Lord.
023.100 That I may do good in that which I have left. But no it is a word that he shall speak and behind them is a barrier until the day they are raised.
023.101 Then when the trumpet is blown, there shall be no kinship between them on that day, nor shall they ask of each other.
025.053 And He is Who has made the two seas to flow into each other, this one palatable sweet, and the other bitter salt; and between them two He has made an inviolable barrier.
055.019 Has made the two seas to flow meeting together.
055.020 Between them a barrier, they do not transgress.
Their Deaths Not Alike
045.021 Or did those who committed ill-deeds think that We shall make them like those who believed and did good, alike their life and their death, bad is their judgment.
045.022 And Allah created the heavens and the earth with truth and that every soul may be rewarded for what it has earned and they shall not be wronged.
039.009 Or he who is obedient during hours of the night, prostrating himself and standing, bewaring the hereafter and hopes for the mercy of his Lord! Say: Are those who know and those who do not know equal? But only men of understanding remember.
016.032 Those whom the angels cause to die in a good state, saying: Peace be on you, enter the garden for what you used to do.
008.050 And if you could see when the angels receive those who disbelieved, smiting their faces and their backs, and taste the punishment of burning.
008.051 That is for what your own hands have sent forth, and because Allah is not unjust to the servants.
008.052 In the manner of the people of pharaoh and those before them; they disbelieved in Allah's signs, therefore Allah destroyed them on account of their faults; surely Allah is strong, severe in punishment.
006.132 To all are degrees of what they did, and Your Lord is not unmindful of what they do.
Windows - Heaven or Hell
016.032 Those whom the angels cause to die in a good state, saying: Peace be on you, enter the heaven for what you did.
028.040 So We seized him and his soldiers, then We cast them into the sea, then see how was the end of the unjust.
028.041 And we made them leaders inviting to the Fire; and on the Day of Judgment no help shall they find.
040.046 The fire; they are brought before it morning and evening and on the day when the hour shall come to pass: admit Pharaoh's folk to the severest chastisement.
-“When any one of you dies, his seat (or place) is displayed before him in the morning and in the afternoon, if he is from the people of heaven, then amongst the people of heaven, and if he is from the people of hell, then it is said: this is your place till Allah resurrects you on the resurrection day”. Sahih Al Bukhari, No. 1379
Time is Relative
040.011 They shall say: Our Lord, twice did You cause us to die, and twice You have given us life, so we confessed our faults; is there then a way to get out?
040.012 That is because when Allah alone was called upon, you disbelieved, and when associates were given to Him, you believed; so judgment belongs to Allah, the High, the Great.
044.056 They shall not taste therein death except the first death, and He saved them from the torment of the hell.
030.059 Thus does Allah seal on the hearts of those who do not know.
Judgment Day
019.093 Not one in the heavens and the earth but will come to the Merciful a servant. 019.094 He has counted them, and has numbered them numbering. 019.095 And every one of them will come to Him on the Day of Judgment single.
056.007 And you shall be three pairs.
056.008 Then companions of the right, what are the companions of the right?
056.009 And companions of the Left, what are the companions of the left?
056.010 And the foremost, the foremost.
Martyrs
003.169 And reckon not those who are killed for Allah's way as dead but are living, with their Lord they have provision. 002.154 And do not say of those who died for the cause of Allah they are dead, no but are alive but you do not feel.
039.068 And the trumpet shall be blown stunning those who are in the skies and in the earth save whom Allah wishes then it shall be blown again where they shall be up, looking.
039.069 And the earth shall shine with the light of its Lord and the Book shall be laid down, and the prophets and the martyrs (or witnesses) shall be brought forward, and judgment shall be given between them with justice, and they shall not be wronged.
039.070 And every soul shall be paid back fully what it has done, and He knows best what they do.
004.069 And whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger, these are among those on whom Allah has bestowed favors from among the prophets and the truthful and the martyrs and the good, and a goodly company they are.
- “There is no bondsman that dies, who has good with God, pleased to return to the earthly world, and that the world and whatever in it belong to him, except for the martyr, for what he sees of the merits of martyrdom, he is well pleased to return to the earthly world, to be killed once more.” Al Bukhari, No. 2795.
- “The murdered are three: A believer who fought with his soul and money for the cause of Allah, so when he met the enemy he fought until he died. The Prophet peace be upon him said about him: Then that is the martyr tested under Allah’s tent under His Throne, the Prophets are better than him just with the degree of prophet hood. And a believer mixed a good deed and another bad, fought with his soul and money for Allah’s cause, if he met the enemy he fought until he was killed, the prophet peace be upon him said: A trial that wiped his faults and sins, the sword is a wiper for sins, and he was entered from whichever gate of heaven he wished, and a hypocrite fought with his soul and money, that when he met the enemy he fought till he was killed, that is in the fire, the sword does not wipe hypocrisy”.
Narrated by Otba Bin Abd AlSalmi, Al Albani, Mishkat Al masabeeh, no. 3782.
Repentance before Death
026.010 And when your Lord called Moses that: Go to the unjust people.
026.011 The people of Pharaoh, will they not fear?
020.043 Go both to Pharaoh surely he has transgressed.
020.044 Then speak to him a gentle word, haply he may remember or fear.
079.023 Then he gathered and called out.
079.024 Then he said: I am your lord, the most high.
079.025 So Allah seized him with the punishment of the hereafter and the former life.
010.090 And We brought the Children of Israel across the sea, then Pharaoh and his hosts followed them for oppression and tyranny; until when drowning overtook him, he said: I believe that there is no god but He in Whom the children of Israel believe and I am of those who submit.
010.091 Now! And indeed you disobeyed before and you were of the mischief-makers.
039.053 Say: "O my Servants who have transgressed against their souls! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: for Allah forgives all sins, for He is the Forgiving the Merciful.
039.054 And return to your Lord (in repentance) and submit to Him before there comes to you the punishment, then you shall not be helped.
039.055 And follow the best that has been revealed to you from your Lord before there comes to you the punishment suddenly while you feel not.
039.056 Lest a soul should say: Woe to me for what I neglected of my duty toward Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers.
039.057 Or should say: If Allah had but guided me I should have been among the righteous.
039.058 Or should say when it sees the punishment: Were there only a returning for me, I should be of the doers of good.
041.030 As for those who say: Our Lord is Allah, and then continue in the right way, the angels descend upon them, that fear not, nor be grieved, and receive good news of the garden which you were promised.
041.031 We are your guardians in the world's life and in the hereafter, and you shall have therein what your souls desire and you shall have therein what you ask for:
041.032 A gift of welcome from One Forgiving, Merciful.
041.033 And who is better in speech than one who called to Allah, did righteousness, and said, I am of those who submit?
041.034 And not alike are the good and the evil. Repel with what is best, then he between whom and you was enmity would be as if he were an intimate friend.
041.035 And none are made to receive it but those who were patient, and none are made to receive it but one with mighty good fortune.
006.158 Are they waiting not but the angels coming to them, or that Your Lord should come, or that some of the signs of your Lord should come. On the day when some of the signs of your Lord shall come, its faith shall not profit a soul which did not believe before, or earn good through its faith. Say: Wait; we too are waiting.
