Six reports to the Qatari Public Prosecution, to investigate the circumstances surrounding the multiple crimes against two persons from the same family in the same year.
In the same year that I discovered the scope of the crime against my son at Rumaila Dental Hospital, which requires a major surgery to correct, and in the same year he suffered for eight months at the evening clinics of Hamad hospital to get approval to do the endoscopy to check for the hernia in his stomach, the same year the head of year at Doha College caused my son to lose an academic year and with it the frustration caused by that crime, and the same year I was almost killed because of the many medical mistakes at Hamad hospital and the injury I received at Aspetar Hospital, and soon, the details of the latest, a similar injury at Al Ahli Hospital.
Despite the kind of embarrassment that I was faced with, because of the nature of all these “Medical mistakes”, I prefered to expose the criminals. What kind of guile planned the details of my “injuries”, certain that I would prefer silence to embarrassment?

The Fabrications of the Public Prosecution
Few months later, before closing the investigation in my case against Hamad Hospital, the medical investigations doctor fabricated a test for me that I entered the women’s clinic of Hamad Hospital with four serious bacterial infections, she showed me the test and refused with the head of the public prosecution Mr. Osama Marwan to give me a copy of it. I went to the women’s hospital and asked the files department for a copy of the test which turned to be very clean, (details at the end of “Judiciary Authorities” page). None of my cases were referred for medical investigation except my case against Hamad Hospital, after the public prosecution caused a confusion in my reports to the police, and after some checking I knew in March that my report against Doha College was reserved because foreign private schools do not fall under the authority of the public prosecution, and my report against Al Ahli Hospital was reserved after one month without further investigation and without referral to the medical investigations, and my report against Aspetar Hospital is frozen, neither investigated nor reserved.

kindly be advised that your order issued on the 13th of January 2009, authorizing Dr. Mona Mustafa in the police medical investigations department to investigate my following reports to the public prosecution needs correction, and that is because it has created a major confusion, for it has the number of my report against Hamad Hospital and an order to investigate all my reports. And because doctor Mona told me last week that she is still investigating my complaint against Hamad Hospital and she cannot proceed with the other complaints because of a fault in the numbers of the reports, and that she called you to inquire and you told her that there is a confusion in the numbers of my reports. And that even though the order authorizing her to investigate is issued for the investigation of all my reports including my complaint against Doha College for their causing my son the loss of an academic year, it has only the number of my complaint against Hamad Hospital 7978. (a photocopy of your order is attached to the letter).

I had brought forward those reports separated to the Head of the Municipality public prosecution Mr. Ali Al Khalil on the 14th of October, and that was after the police stations of the Municipality, Al Sadd and Abu Hamour refused taking my reports, because they are against Hamad Hospital and I was advised to go talk to the head of the Police. After handing my reports to the public prosecution on the 14th of October I was not given any receipts or numbers for my reports, and on the 30th of November I was called by Al Sadd police station to report my complaints again, but they recorded my complaint against Hamad Hospital and Doha College, when I asked about my other reports I was told to go to the Municipality station for the report against Rumaila Hospital and Al Rayan station to report my complaint against Aspetar Hospital. My report against Doha College was reported again at Al Sadd station after it turned out when I checked with you that Al Sadd station has mistakenly combined it with my report against Hamad Hospital, its number is 385 from 2009 and there is another report against Al Ahli Hospital, its number is 634 from 2009. I was recently told by you that my complaint against Doha College was reserved because it does not fall under the responsibility of the public prosecution and I knew also that my complaint against Al Ahli Hospital was reserved.
I was told a month ago when I checked with the Municipality public prosecution that they have started investigating the forged x-ray in my son’s case against Rumaila Hospital, report number 6638. I do not know if my report against Aspetar Hospital has been directed to the medical investigations, because when I asked the Rayan public prosecution deputy Mr. Ahmad Izzat regarding it last month, and asked if he sent it to Doctor Mona for the medical investigations, he said that he will send her a request to speed up the investigation. Kindly inform me if it had been sent out for the medical investigations, and who is following it there to follow up with them before it gets reserved like my report against Al Ahli Hospital got reserved without calling me to the medical investigations.

To The Qatari Public Prosecution
Reporting the crime committed against my son in Rumaila Dental Hospital, branch of Hamad Hospital, that lead to his need of a major surgery after five year of orthodontic treatment.
My son left to Canada to continue his treatment where he will have a surgery for his upper jaw and another for his nose because of a criminal consultant at the Rumaila dental hospital, in addition to the frustrations caused by an unheard of result after six years of orthodontic treatment.
The crime started in 2002 when the orthodontic treatment started at the evening clinic of the senior orthodontic consultant Rabindranath Sivam at the Rumaila Dental Hospital. The first stage was to push the upper front teeth forward to treat the cross bite of the upper teeth behind the lower teeth. We left after the first stage to return after the eruption of the molars and the extraction of the first permanent molars according to his recommendation because the upper canines were overlapping the front teeth, to start the braces at a total cost for the two stages of 16000 riyals. In December 2003 the second stage started, to be finished within two to two and half years. Sivam did not name the case or give any warnings, he did not mention any problems and when he finished his work on the fifth of April 2007, he expressed his content with the final result and used three x-rays to show the progression of the treatment from the date of the first x-ray in 2002, to the second in 2005 till the third in 2007. But Sivam forgot that he had refused to take an x-ray in 2005, and he used an x-ray that belongs to a close match for my son, (I have the x-ray) and he said in his report to the management that the x-ray proves that he had reached the perfect result in 2005, but my son’s negligence that he did not mention anything about, during the whole time of the treatment, is what caused the problem. Which turned out after my son complained, after five years of treatment that there was no space in his mouth for his tongue, and after the consultation with the orthodontic consultant doctor Tavas at the Queen’s dental centre on 11 May 2007, turned out to be a crime requiring a major surgery in Canada to expand the upper jaw because of the lousy treatment after all the years in Rumaila. Other consultants witnessed to the same but refused to give reports, and so did Dr. Mustafa Al Khalil the head of plastic surgery at Rumaila, that the case requires a surgery and he offered to do it.
Sivam has narrowed the upper jaw during the five years of monthly visits and daily work with elastics. When I suspected that something was wrong and noticed a change and told Sivam about that and my worry that the treatment is taking longer than it should, he mocked saying that I should worry about my son’s nose, and he referred us to an Indian ENT doctor a friend of his at Hamad hospital, who did not notice the narrowness in the upper jaw and recommended a nose surgery to treat the breathing difficulty when my son is 18, the breathing difficulty that turned out to be caused by the narrow upper jaw. I was advised to look for the best surgeons in Canada and that the surgery will require 3 months stay at the hospital and 6 months of orthodontic treatment before and after the surgery. Had his doctor who did not mention anything about any mistakes throughout all the last year and a half while we were waiting for one tooth to move and fit the retainers, had he at least abandoned the job a year and a half ago when the job was supposed to finish, he would have left us a chance to correct the situation during the time when my son was growing and his profile was changing. Doctor Saad Al Kaabi the medical director responsible for the complaints at Hamad hospital, told Sivam to leave the hospital within days of my writing to his office in May 2007, but was respited until he finishes his cases. But he was rewarded by moving to a new dental centre called The Future.

Reporting the negligence at Hamad Hospital in detecting the hiatal hernia, that almost coasted my son his life
My son had complained of sharp pain in his stomach in 2006. On the 5th of Sept. 2006, we were referred to Hamad Hospital by Qatar Petroleum Clinic to investigate the reason for the chest and stomach pain. On April 18th the endoscopy that we came from Qatar petroleum clinic for was done. That was after eight months from the referral date from Qatar petroleum clinic and after 12 visits to the evening clinics of doctors Ahmad AlAni and Muhamad Butt, who Kept repeating the same blood tests and continued to prescribe Losec which has a warning that it is used to treat heartburn in a month at the most, but if the symptoms persist, the doctor has to investigate the reason among the many reasons of heart burn. My attempts to prompt them to do the necessary tests were faced with stubborn refusal and my complaints that my son is drowning in his sleep were answered with vileness and to bring him at night to the emergency. Months later I knew that the more we visit the more they profit. They exposed my son to danger and to eight months of needless suffering above the crime done to him during five years of orthodontic treatment at Rumaila dental hospital, that caused him to need a serious operation and suffering.

Report against Doha College for their causing my son to lose an Academic year
The head of year at the Doha College, caused my son to lose an academic year and with it the frustration caused by that crime. Mr. Douglas Briggs deceived my son at the beginning of the school year 2006-2007 by hiding his subject options for the school year for a month, and when we confronted the school with what happened after a month of delays and falsely accusing my son of negligence in submitting his choices, which he brought forward many times starting from the end of the previous year, it turned out that they have shortage in places in Math classes and a time table conflict, which ended up causing my son to study Math on his own without attending a classroom, and ended up causing him to fail the subject and physics with it, and that after a long record of full marks in all his subjects. My son repeated the year which was sufficient for his graduation and to join a university in Canada, and he took up with it the next year in one year, and was able despite what he passed through to graduate from Doha College with good grades.
I could not reach an official authority with the complaint last year, I was told when I contacted the supreme education council that they have no authority over foreign private schools, and the British embassy denied its responsibility towards the college which states in its official papers that it is sponsored by the British embassy. And because my son had to stay to continue his education at the Doha College I decided to wait until he graduates from the college to follow up with the complaint.

Report concerning the threat of harm I received from Hamad Hospital and the chain of medical mistakes committed against me.
I report the threat I received from Hamad hospital above their avoidance to my complaints about the crime committed against my son at Rumaila hospital and which requires a major surgery in Canada, and the chain of medical mistakes that were done to me. The office of Hanan Al kawari the hospital’s manager, threatened me after I said that they have left me no other option after all this waiting for more than a year and a half to get a reply to my complaints, or a report about my son’s case or the report of their investigations committee, or to meet with an official in the hospital, I was left no other option but to contact Canadian lawyers. I was threatened of" causing myself harm": "You will gain nothing except causing yourself harm for exposing the reputation of the Corporation and the government to danger". That was last May. I tried to report the complaint at three police stations but could not.
The details of the medical mistakes done to me
1) The bacterial infection from the physiotherapy centre of Hamad hospital.
In March 2006 I entered H.H. Emergency because of a serious bacterial infection I got during my treatment at the physiotherapy centre at Hamad Hospital, it was not treated right and I was not informed about its name or nature, but turned out to be serious bacteria and unless treated promptly in the right way would cause a life threat. The infection recurred in three months, and three times at the beginning of this year, it is immune to antibiotics now that the next time it attacks there might not be antibiotics left that it is not resistant to.
2) The reaction of my immune system because of the bacteria, and the failure to treat the hyperthyroid during the nine months of consultations follow ups at the evening clinics
In March 2006, I had a chain reaction because my immune system was triggered by the bacterial infection. My symptoms started with severe eye pressure, later redness, bacteria in the eyes and deteriorating sight. I came to Hamad hospital with a referral to the endocrinology from Qatar petroleum clinic. The two thyroid doctors I was checking with at Hamad Hospital evening clinic, Hakim and Al Masri failed at treating it right or to tell me what is happening despite my serious complaints for nine months when my TSH was 0 throughout my follow up visits at Hamad hospitals evening private clinics. They failed to refer me to or ask another doctor. It turned out that the dosage of medication was wrong. I was started on the lowest dose and remained on the highest dose after increasing the dose gradually. Two weeks after moving to doctor Zirie’s clinic and changing the medication, my hyper thyroid stabilized.
3) Developing Hypertension
In those nine months at the endocrinology clinics I developed serious hyper tension and was on different blood pressure medications, for months my B.P. kept reaching 190/130.
4) The bone problems because of the failure to treat the bacterial infection and the hyperthyroid
During that time my bones aged in few months, I injured my lower back, I could not sit for more than six months, I was in real danger of lower paralysis. None of the orthopedic doctors at Hamad hospital investigated my problem right despite the many tests that did not reach the injury. And I was made by ignorant criminals to sit on ice bags at the physiotherapy centre of Hamad Hospital which caused the healing of the broken coccyx to mend the wrong way, and made me unable to sit for months. I still cannot sit without pain, and still have to go to physiotherapy for treatment for the pain and deterioration in the pelvic bones and the spine.

To The Qatari Public Prosecution
Reporting Aspetar hospital’s causing my need for a major surgery, because of negligence at their physiotherapy centre
Last February I went to Doha clinic seeking a consultation for the growing pain and immobility in my lower back, which was caused by the many medical mistakes at Hamad hospital. I saw doctor Capello, who said after seeing my x-ray that the pain caused by coccydenia might need an amputation for the last vertebrae, and the condition of the pelvic bones requires a special kind of physiotherapy. He asked if I knew of a good place for that, I said I can go to Aspetar, he approved saying that they are the best.
In March I went to Aspetar Hospital for a consultation, an x-ray was taken and I was told that had I come earlier, the right physiotherapy could have helped mend the broken coccyx in the right way, I will have to sit with pain for the rest of my life, not to expect to get better with time and was warned that an operation is too dangerous and not guaranteed to ease the problem. But the doctor referred me to physiotherapy for the pelvic bones. The treatment as described to me by the doctor worked fine and my mobility improved but two wrong treatments from the therapist, despite my extreme caution and asking the Libyan therapist to mind my condition and ask her supervisor or the doctors, because I sensed her hesitation and lack of confidence about the treatment plan, resulted in causing me to have to go for a major operation. I was injured in April 2008, two and half months after I sent my complaint letter to the management, I received a letter from them that they washed their hands from the problem they caused me. When I checked with the doctor who referred me to physiotherapy, and told him about the exercises that caused my injury, he said he did not ask for that and that they should know at the physiotherapy centre. I raised my complaint to the office of Aspire Zone, on the 26th of July, on the 15th of September they called me from the management and I was told they are investigating my complaint and will call me back, and still waiting for a reply.
I have copies of my letters to the hospitals management, and the management of Aspire Zone and the reports about my conditions requiring a surgery, and reports about my condition before and after treatment at their physiotherapy centre.
